a collection of things...

before we start, i just heard a lady on tv say that she 'hummed & harred' about whether to do i don't about you but if i do have to mull things over and am of an indecisive mind then i tend to 'um & arr' do you not? also in the same programme a man has just described a 'light hole' in a roof with a noise not to dissimilar to that of a dog!

now then i saw the below here...and here is a friend of here i believe.

when i saw it, it read to 'Bold the ones you have done and then post it on your blog' voila...

21. Had a pillow fight (no regrettably)

23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill

26. Gone skinny dipping

27. Run a Marathon (No, i cycled manchester to blackpool though - i'm most certainly absolutely not one who runs!)

28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice (one of my biggest to do's)

29. Seen a total eclipse (only if we're talking jaffas)

30. Watched a sunrise or sunset

31. Hit a home run

32. Been on a cruise

33. Seen Niagara Falls in person

34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors

35. Seen an Amish community (? why?)

36. Taught yourself a new language

37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied

39. Gone rock climbing (good grief we used to go to this rock climbing place during PE in high school - detest is not a even close to being a strong enough adjective. does that count? i'm going to bold it anyway)

43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant

46. Been transported in an ambulance (thankfully not, although i am surprised no. 39 didn't lead to this)

50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (been to level 1)

51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling

58. Had an encounter with a wild animal (define encounter!?)

61. Sold Girl Scout Cookies (uk brownies didn't rock this trend did they ha!)

62. Gone whale watching (sea world?)

63. Got flowers for no reason

64. Donated blood, platelets, or plasma

65. Gone sky diving (jeepers creepers NO! i'd have to be chucked out of an aircraft, i doubt i'd be in the frame of mind to be considering the art of 'diving' that's quite a calculated action surely! i fear my 'dive' would more resemble some kind of uncoordinated air borne 'can can')

66. Visited a Nazi Concentration Camp

67. Bounced a cheque (oh the shame)

68. Flown in a helicopter

69. Saved a favourite childhood toy (i have cupboards full)

74. Toured the Everglades (t'was a tres 'police academy' experience - i loved it)

76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London (i was like 6)

78. Been on a speeding motorcycle (sat on a stationary harley?)

79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person

81. Visited the Vatican

82. Bought a brand new car

83. Walked in Jerusalem

87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating

88. Had chickenpox

89. Saved someone’s life

90. Sat on a Jury

91. Met someone famous (one of these encounters included telling ryan giggs that he looked like ryan giggs - smooth)

92. Joined a book club

93. Lost a loved one

94. Had a baby

95. Seen the Alamo in person (? what is this)

96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake

97. Been involved in a law suit

98. Owned a cell phone (i am thinking a more challenging question would be 'never' owned a cell..ahem mobile phone)

99. Been stung by a bee (technically my fault - i stood on it)

100. Taken a martial arts class

*on re-reading this sounds slightly wrong!

what a pointless exercise - with a sprinkle of kinda fun - try it. and if like moi you like a good list then you also might like the day zero project you set up your own little (big) list and it meaures your % rate of achievements - you list 101 things you would like to do/achieve/make/whatever and you have 1001 days in which to do them - as previously mentioned i love a list and i love 101/1001 (despite my 2% complete score to date - i have 920 days and counting and i WILL tick every box)

I also remembered today that next month is time for toffee apples and with next month only 2 sleeps away then hooray for toffee apples..

and now before i turn into a pumpkin (eep pumpkins are only 2 more sleeps away too! how topical) i bid you good night xx
